The applicants must at least basic education or knowledge. Commonly, airlines will require high school qualification, SPM or GCE O level, except SIA which require Diploma or Degree, O level may apply provided they meet other criteria. The O level qualification is considered as the minimum and of course the higher the better. While some of the airlines, they require a good secondary education, with some asking for grade C or above in English and Math. For the cabin crew, it is a must for them to know or expert in English language because the passenger was came from many countries. Flight attendants will only need to have a basic of mathematic because they might be in a position that is a cashier when serve the food and drinks to the passenger and also have to know the current currency.
