R 2: Physical Attributes

To be flight attendants for sure the airline company is concern much about the physical of the flight attendants (steward and stewardess).  For the height it requirement for the common height range is between 150cm and 190cm tall. Next is, the weight is very important especially for the stewardess because the airlines company are took care of their reputation.  The good looking of their flight attendants also as to make people get attract. It doesn’t have specific number of weight but for example for Malaysia Airlines twice a year their crew members have their “Body Mass Index” tested. They have to make sure not to exceed the limit set of their weight. If they still can’t shed the kilo’s they are put on two weeks leave to lose the weight before being tested again. For the vision the applicant must have at least 20/30 vision. This means they don’t even need to have “normal” 20/20 vision, and with the use of glasses or contact lenses.
